"Support from Coast to Coast"Event to be held on Thursday October 22, 2020; 08:00-18:00 Eastern (Daylight Savings Time)
In light of the cancellation of most (all) of the six regional AME Associations’ annual conferences this year and the devastation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, AMEC/TEAC (the Aircraft Maintenance Engineers of Canada/Techniciens D’Entretien D’Aeronefs du Canada), which is comprised of the six regional AME associations, has taken the necessary steps to create the 2020 AMEC/TEAC National Virtual Aircraft Maintenance Conference. The primary purpose of this event is to enable AMEs to have access to recurrent training opportunities. A secondary purpose is to allow industry partners to connect with the AMEs for the purposes of communicating with their customers and colleagues and presenting updates to members of the aircraft maintenance industry. The event is a one-day, live, online event, accessible via the internet to all of Canada (and beyond). All of the live presentations will be available via a video archive page on the event website for six months after the date of the Live Conference. The eighteen videos from the live event will be augmented by additional videos, submitted by presenting companies, and the entire video library will be available on a web-based video archive, accessible by logging onto the Event Registration Page for six months. This way, if an attendee is unavailable on the event date, they may still access all the presentations (including the eighteen live presentations from Oct 22) until April 23, 2021.
